We believe the Apostle’s Creed as a summary of our beliefs:
We believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth; And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried; He descended into Hades; the third day He arose from the dead; He ascended into Heave, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy universal church, the communion of the saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting. Amen.
Our Story
Juniper Community Church began in 1917 as the Madras Free Methodist Church. We recently changed our name to Juniper Community Church to better reflect our local landscape and our mission and vision for Jefferson County. We reach out to people not only in Madras, but also Metolius, Culver and Warm Springs. We are a regional church with a vision to produce mature believers who disciple others. We strive to help people come to Christ and grow in Christ. We strive for people to come to church and grow in relationships with God’s family and we reach out to our community by building relationships and ministries to serve outside the 4 walls of our sanctuary both, locally and around the world.
Our Mission
Our mission is to love God, love people and make disciples by growing in relationship with Christ, with the church, and with the community through serving others and sharing God’s love.
